Some people may say that because they love you and do not want to see you hurt. Others may say it because they do not understand covenant.
Listen with humility, but do not let every voice become your shepherd. Bring counsel back to Scripture. Seek wisdom from mature believers who understand truth, grace, covenant, repentance, and safety.
Moving forward with God is always necessary. But “moving forward” does not always mean giving up on what God has called you to pray for.
