Your next steps with Jesus
Meet Jesus in the Gospel of John.
Following Jesus begins with knowing Him. John introduces Jesus as the eternal Word, the Lamb of God, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the Life, and the risen Lord who calls us to follow Him.
Why begin with John?
Read to know who Jesus is.
John is not merely a collection of inspirational sayings. It is an eyewitness testimony written so that readers may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and receive life in His name.
As you read, pay attention to what Jesus says about Himself, what His signs reveal, how people respond to Him, and how the cross and resurrection complete the testimony.
“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
John 20:31, KJV
